[VIDEO] My Filmography 2006-2008

I just had my Masters Entrance Exam this morning. Of course, it's not really an entrance exam, but more like a presentation. 5 minutes of me talking about myself and my proposed thesis, then 10 minutes of Q and A session from the committee of professors from the faculty I'm presenting to.

In order to ensure that I was going to put up a nice show, I decided to put together some of the films I've done in the past 2 years, either as director, producer or editor. So aside from my own short films, there are stuff from Ming Jin too, like THE ELEPHANT AND THE SEA, KURUS (DAYS OF THE TURQUOISE SKY) and BLUE ROOF. It's like a show reel, I guess. I actually put everything together last night. I'm quite happy with how it went (the video, and also the presentation).

So, I'm sharing my video with you folks.

hmm I know you're a pianist and all, but I can't help but notice that NONE of your films have GUITAR scores!! what's with this discrimination against six-string instruments???

Whatchu talking aboot, cuz? I pretty much used them in both Vertical Distance and Chicken Rice Mystery! Only in these excerpts did I choose not to use guitar scores for this vid cos to my untrained ear, they sound less profound than the melancholic beauty of the piano :D
